Open QuickCheck course
6-7 November
Just before this year's
Erlang User Conference we will offer an open QuickCheck course for
designers in Göteborg. This course is similar to the training course that we
run in-house for QuickCheck customers, taught over two consecutive days. It
provides the opportunity to learn how to use QuickCheck without the
investment that a dedicated course requires.
Register before October 1st by email
The course consists of two full days with a mixture of theory and
practical sessions, and includes a two-week QuickCheck licence, which can be
used to gain further experience with our tool after the course is over. This
course is intended for participants who are familiar with Erlang.
Nov 6: 9:00 - 17:00 Getting started, Basic
Generators, Testing with Side-effects, Real-life usage example.
Nov 7: 9:00 - 17:00 Small counter examples,
Shrinking strategies, Protocol Testing, Negative and Positive testing.
You can get
more information and register for the course by
email. Registration is on a first come, first served basis and
the number of seats is restricted to a maximum of 10. We reserve the right
to cancel the course if there are few participants, so make sure to book
your place early.
The course will be held at the Villa Belparc in Slottskogen in Gothenburg. The price is 10.000
sek per participant (excluding VAT). Payment is due October 1st, but you can
register immediately. No refunds will be made for cancellations after
October 5th.
Participants intending to take part in the Erlang User Conference in
Stockholm will find it easy to travel there on the evening of November 7th,
for example 17:42 - 20:50 by
train and 19:10 - 20:10 by
air.
